27–28 November 2025 at Kasteel Bloemendal in Vaals, Netherlands – just minutes away from Aachen.
This flagship event brings together researchers, innovators, and advocates of the 3Rs – Replacement, Reduction, and Refinement in animal research – to exchange ideas, share advances, and strengthen collaborations across disciplines.
The conference theme for 2025, “Advancing the 3Rs: From Innovation to Implementation,”
emphasizes the importance of putting research into practice to improve both animal welfare and scientific rigor.
Early career researchers are warmly invited to take part in our interactive Pre-Conference Workshop at the University Hospital Aachen: “Beyond Compliance: Integrating the 3Rs into Your Research Career”, designed to provide practical guidance and career development tools for responsible research.
