TRR 332 I Understanding and improving animal experiments

The DFG-funded consortium ‘Neutrophils: origin, fate & function’ (www.neutrophils.de ) aims at an improved understanding of neutrophil biology in the context of inflammation and tumour biology; much of our research is focused on the use of animal models and in an attempt to understand limitations of this approach and to limit the use of mice, we will be launching a seminar series on ‘understanding and improving animal experiments’.
