From the organizers:

Research integrity as a driver for growth, knowledge, and innovation

This year’s symposium will examine the UK's renewed emphasis on research as a catalyst for economic growth, innovation, and knowledge production – and the central role that research integrity plays in achieving these ambitions.

Across the day, we will explore:

  • what the growth agenda means in practice
  • how integrity is central to this agenda, underpinning excellence, credibility, and impact
  • how organisations can align growth and innovation objectives with robust governance and responsible research cultures
  • how the growth agenda intersects with key concerns of the research community, including AI, research culture, translational research, and international collaboration.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    A morning open to the public
  • For the first time, the symposium’s morning programme will be open to all stakeholders across the research community.
  • The session will include:
  • scene-setting remarks from UKRIO’s Chief Executive, Stephanie Neave, and Chair of Trustees, Professor Dame Linda Partridge
  • a keynote conversation with a senior leader, examining the UK's growth agenda and the key role integrity will play in its delivery
  • a panel discussion bringing together leading voices from across the research system to explore how ambitions for growth intersect with contemporary challenges in research integrity.                                                                                                                                                                                                                            UKRIO Link
