From the organizers:

in our upcoming webinar we will be joined by EPO Experimental Pharmacology & Oncology Berlin‑Buch GmbH. Together we will explore how advanced BBB‑on‑Chip technology is opening new avenues for understanding brain tumors, brain metastasis, and drug transport into the brain.

PhD researchers Amélie Paillereau and Michelle Zimmer will share first‑hand insights from their research, highlighting how BBB‑on‑Chip models are being established, optimized, and applied to investigate gliomas and other brain tumor entities. Their presentations will be followed by an in‑depth expert discussion and panel round with Dr. Thomas Sommermann, Dr. Martin Raasch, and Dr. Jens Hoffmann, addressing current bottlenecks in brain cancer research and the growing importance of advanced preclinical systems for translational success.
