Satellite Meetings – EUROoCS 2026
Satellite Meetings are independently organized scientific events designed to explore specialized topics within the field of Organ-on-Chip (OoC) and Microphysiological Systems (MPS). These meetings provide a focused platform for in-depth discussion, knowledge exchange, and networking among international experts.
Key Features
– Organized by academic, nonprofit, governmental, or research institutions (non-commercial in nature).
– Focused on scientific, technological, or translational themes aligned with the mission of EUROoCS.
– May include workshops, symposia, training courses, or round-table discussions
– Subject to approval by the EUROoCS Organizing Committee to ensure alignment with the main program and scheduling coherence.
– The requesting organization will be responsible for all planning and costs associated with their requested event. EUROoCs will assist with promoting the Satellite Meeting to registered attendees.
– All satellite meeting requests will be evaluated by representatives designated by the EUROoCs Scientific Program Board.
– Participants of satelitte meeting should be registered in the EUROoCs 2026 Conference
When Are Satellite Meetings Held?
Satellite Meetings are scheduled before the official EUROoCS 2026 conference dates, allowing participants to engage fully in both the satellite events and the core conference program.
Pre-conference: 1days before the official EUROoCS opening
This timing ensures a seamless conference experience while offering additional opportunities to explore specific OoC/MPS topics in depth.
Benefits of Hosting a Satellite Meeting
– Highlight cutting-edge research, emerging technologies, or community initiatives in OoC and MPS.
– Foster focused interaction and collaboration within a specialized audience.
– Showcase your organization’s expertise and leadership in the field.
– Contribute to shaping the future direction of Organ-on-Chip research in Europe and beyond.
Institutions interested in organizing a Satellite Meeting are invited to submit a proposal for consideration by the EUROoCS 2026 Organizing Committee by 1st March 2026. Registration Satellite Meetings
