From the organisers:

"Join us on March 12 for the “Bonn Organoid Symposium 2026“!

With six invited speakers, short talks and a poster session, we expect a full day of presentations, discussions and networking opportunities around organoids and other 3D culturing systems in multiple application cases. This is our second symposium after the successful first event in 2024 with 150 participants.

Implementing more complex model systems is crucial to understand biological phenomena, function and diseases. Organoids and other 3D culturing systems increase physiological relevance in basic research by providing more relevant context and more complex and tissue-like cellular composition and might potentially bridge the gap between animal models and cell culture in order to Reduce, Refine and Replace animal experiments. Additionally, the complex 3D cell models offer new avenues for disease modeling and personalized treatment approaches. With this symposium, we aim to lay once more the foundation for a fruitful exchange and onset of new collaborations."
